One Thousand Gifts

1. Finding a precious kitty that we were heartbroken about losing.
2. Chatting with Christian friends about godly books we can read ourselves & read to our children.
3. Enjoying a Sunday afternoon with my family after worshiping together with them that morning.
4. Precious friends who ask you out to lunch.
5. Hearing my husband's voice on the other end of the phone.
6. Having a child lay her head on my shoulder.
7. Safe travel.
8. Just hanging out with my family.
9. Being sick so I can appreciate when I'm well.
10. Dear friends to fellowship with.
11. Beautiful Japanese cherry trees in full bloom.
12. God's hand at work in my life.
13. His Word!
14. Friends who encourage me.
15. Beautiful blooms of spring that we get to enjoy.
16. Being able to spend time with extended family on Resurrection Sunday (Easter).
17. Having healthy children.
18. The beautiful ocean.
19. Extended family that I'm close to.
20. A roof over my head.
21. The incredible creatures God created.
22. Reliable transportation (even though it's over 9 years old).
23. The beautiful wildflowers God chose to share with us.
24. A close knit family.
25. A precious Christian lady who teaches my children art.
26. Daughters who share things with me.
27. The spring rain.
28. God's provision even though we don't always recognize it.
29. His sovereignty, goodness, mercy, and grace.
30. The changing seasons.
31. Jesus and His awesome sacrifice for you & me!
32. Trivia game night spent with my hubby & kiddos at the local Mexican restaurant.
33. God opening my eyes to Him blessing me in ways I don't normally see.
34. All of our family spending time together before bed.
35. Precious neighbors.
36. His patience with me & giving me patience with others.
37. A church that truly speaks the Word of God without worrying about stepping on toes.
38. My mother who I was privileged to spend this Mother's Day with.
39. The beautiful little flowers amongst the "weeds" of everyday life.
40. Motivation to clean up the yard.
41. A tiny 3 lb. teacup poodle that makes me smile.
42. My niece's law school graduation which called for a big family celebration.
43. Another family get-together to celebrate my nephew graduating from college.

75. The view of hot pink crepe myrtles blooming just outside my kitchen window.
76. Working in the yard while my husband cuts grass.
77. The beautiful blue bird I saw for the first time today that was perched on a post in front of our home.
